You've got questions - we've got answers
What goes in my garbage can?
Cans are intended for typical household type trash only -- think "kitchen garbage," food scraps, packaging, paper products, diapers, other general household waste.
What cannot go in the can?
Batteries, electronics, fluorescent light bulbs, paint and paint cans, used motor oil and filters, prescription medications, fire ashes, dirt, yard debris, mattresses, and mulch.
What happens on holidays or in bad weather?
We observe 6 major holdays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We do not always delay service for the holidays. Any change (or lack thereof) will be posted on our website and Facebook page the week before. Same is done if needed for inclement weather. You can also opt in to service updates via text/email.
What if my can is damaged?
Call our office at 570-212-0573 and we will make arrangements to repair or replace.
